Customized programs for students’ liberty learning, to make students well-prepared for future career, 7 colleges co-execute the upgrades of knowledge and the cultivation of social elites.

  Customized programs are programs planned by students, which aim at students and make students shoulder the responsibility of learning. Those are planned based on students’ interests, pre-selected courses and employment demands. With the professional guidance of departments and colleges, the customized programs are pre-agreed and authenticated afterwards; they help to excite students’ interest in learning, and to make students pay close attention to social development trends. They also effectively make professional studies, practice and industrial demands well-connected to each other. The critical tasks and stages of customized programs include “Exploration and Planning of Students”, “Guidance and Approval by departments and colleges”, “Co-execution and Authentication between students and CCU ” and also the evaluation and feedbacks from students after their graduation.
    Besides the professional programs of each departments and the interdisciplinary programs in our university, the customized programs are going to combine the measures and mechanisms of CCU One Piece Liberty Learning System, pre-selected courses, course feedbacks, career mentors, interest exploration, career lectures, course streaming, interuniversity course selection, topic learning, departmental professional programs, the university’s interdisciplinary programs, so as to achieve the ideal outcomes of interdisciplinary learning and integrated learning, and to cultivate students to possess the ability to apply what they’ve learned and to start an enterprise and to develop their own career, and also the social competitiveness and global employability.

    All the 7 colleges will co-execute the upgrades of knowledge and the cultivation of social elites. At the instance of the related training for students in ageing populations by College of Social Science, considering the current professors and lecturers in Department of Psychology, in response to the future ageing society, we adjusted the course content and focused on the related areas of physiological psychology in old age. Furthermore, College of Social Science also integrated the departments and institutes which offered training in aged population to make it an inter-departmental system in its college and completed the course integration between colleges.
